Κισσός Inn Παραδοσιακός ξενώνας στο Πήλιο

Ο ξενώνας Κισσός Inn είναι μία μικρή οικογενειακή επιχείρηση στην καρδιά του γραφικού χωριού Κισσός, στο βουνό των Κενταύρων το Πήλιο. Στα 10 δωμάτια που διαθέτει φροντίζει να σας φιλοξενήσει και να σας προσφέρει όμορφες, γαλήνιες στιγμές οποιαδήποτε περίοδο του χρόνου.

Ιδρύθηκε το 1980 από τον παππού μας Σοφοκλή Γαρουφαλιά και ανακαινίστηκε πλήρως το Μάιο του 2024 από την επόμενη γενιά της οικογένειας, η οποία πήρε τη σκυτάλη στη μεγάλη ιστορία αυτού του χώρου με στόχο να κάνει τον κάθε επισκέπτη να νιώθει σαν το σπίτι του.

Είναι ιδιαίτερα σημαντικό να αναφέρουμε πως ο Σοφοκλής, είναι ο άνθρωπος που κυριολεκτικά έφερε τον τουρισμό στο χωριό όταν μαζί με τον πατέρα του Μιχάλη, το 1960, ανοίξανε, δίπλα από την εκκλησία της Αγίας Μαρίνας – σπουδαίο Βυζαντινό μνημείο - ένα καφενείο και μετέπειτα εστιατόριο «Στου Σοφοκλή» γνωστό και ως Κληματαριά, αφού η πέργκολα ήταν «πνιγμένη» από κλήμα. Και ο χώρος αυτός ανακαινίστηκε πλήρως και δημιουργήθηκε μία κουζίνα που θα λειτουργεί όλη τη μέρα και όλο το χρόνο και θα προσφέρει γεύσεις του τόπου με βάση τη μαγειρική και τις ιδέες του παππού αλλά της γιαγιάς Βούλας που τον συντρόφευε παντού.

Ελπίζουμε να σας αρέσει η προσπάθειά μας να αναβιώσει όλο το κλίμα της ταβέρνας και του ξενοδοχείου και να δείξετε λίγη ακόμη υπομονή μέχρι να μπορέσουμε να σας παρουσιάσουμε τους χώρους εξ' ολοκλήρου.

The rooms are spotlessly clean, with perfect mattresses (I didn't think I would comment on this in a review-so good!) and all the amenities.As for the restaurant: quality and tasty food served by polite and smiling staff.After a tour in Pelion, this guest house took off our vacation and we will return with full batteries. Thank you for everything and I hope you keep it up!We will definitely come again!PS : Our dog enjoyed it as much as we did.

The first guesthouse and restaurant of Sophocles in Kissos since 1960, renovated and with excellent Greek cuisine, is a top choice for the beautiful village, in the woods of central Pelion. Comfortable rooms overlooking the greenery and a restaurant with balcony and garden, next to the famous square of Kissos, with the traditional Pelion architecture of Agia Marina.Worth it, we'll be back!

Hotel Kissos is a decent choice in Kissos. We had some issues with our room, but they were quick to help us fix it.One of the downsides is that some rooms are located next to a parking, with the sound carrying over to the rooms so you can hear everything at night.

We arrived at 9pm and hotel was fortunately still open (also the only hotel that was open as it was out of season end of September and all others were closed). Nevertheless, we got a really nice double room with balcony for €40. Very clean and nice view. Also, for another €5 per person, we got a very nice breakfast which consisted of bread with different marmalades, cheese, ham and feta and a boiled egg. Also, we got orange juice, coffee & tea and as a dessert some cake and sweets. Overall very good for just €5 pp! I would definitely stay again. The host lady was very friendly and took good care of us. There were only a couple of guests at the hotel at this time of the year but there is obviously capacity for more during the high season.

The village was wonderful! The people were extremely kind and sociable. Nice service. BUT(!!!) the wifi Connection really sucked, our room smelled like pork chops the whole day because of the location ( it’s near a restaurant) , the bathroom too small, the bed too hard ( I’m not sure if it was a bed or a sofa-bed ). The breakfast was nice but did not have oatmeal, cereal, yoghurt or fruit. The marmelades were really good though. For its price it is ok.
